ABOUT RYAN PITTS

  • Ryan Pitts is a 4th generation Waxahachie resident who is running to represent the citizens within WISD on the WISD School Board. Born and raised in Waxahachie, Ryan maintains committed to the roots of the community, but is focused on planning for tomorrow all the while making sure the quality of education of our students remains at an elite level.

  • Ryan and his wife, Faith Anne Pitts, are residents of Waxahachie where they are raising their two children Evelyn (5 years) and Reagan (2 years). Ryan as a father of 2 young children who will be attending school in WISD, there is nothing more important to him than the education they will receive in our community.

  • I currently serve as the Vice President of the Waxahachie CARE board of directors, Secretary of the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, member of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie Patient Advisory Council, member of the board of management for the Waxahachie Family YMCA, founding member of Waxahachie Young Professionals and Trustee for the Edna Pearl Carder Memorial Scholarship. Previously, I have served on the Waxahachie ISD Community Education Advisory Board, WISD Long Range Planning Committee, the Navarro College Advisory Board and was on the board of the Spring Creek Grove Homeowners Association. I am a proud member of Leadership Waxahachie class of XXII in 2015, which is responsible for the creation and completion of the Railyard Amphitheatre in Downtown Waxahachie. I also served six years as a board member on the Waxahachie Foundation and was President for two years. Additionally in 2017, I was named top “Forty under 40” in Ellis County for my work in the community and in business.

  • Ryan is the Chief Executive Officer of family-owned and operated Ellis County Title Company and was selected to the list of Ellis County’s “40 under Forty Business Professionals” in 2017. As a business owner, Ryan understands the importance of the success our school system has on the future of our community.
